Without a ruler, dharma (righteousness) cannot prevail. People harm each other, and the very concept of social order collapses.
Seeing the fear and chaos in a ruler-less world, the Creator appointed kings for the protection of all.
Hearing the war-drums of approaching enemies, celestial maidens resumed their long-lost beautification, anticipating fallen warriors’ arrival in heave...
With eyes blazing from the enemy's might, and arms raised with swords, the warrior advances with the power of a thousand arms.
The Creator, while painting curls on a lady’s forehead, let a dark drop fall, creating a fine line of tender hair above her brow.
Even if one is an enemy, hospitality should be shown when he comes home. Like a tree, one should not withdraw shade from even those who cut it.
A fool who doesn’t recognize his friend, enemy, neutral person, or elder, eventually loses everything.
Living with an enemy, eating with poison, or befriending sinners inevitably leads to death.
