One who is not indifferent to either the needy or even to enemies, is truly magnanimous, peaceful, and grateful—such rare beings exist.
The Kalpavriksha (wish-fulfilling tree) is bent due to excessive fruit-giving; even a generous soul may bear ridicule if misunderstood.
The seeker becomes humble, the achiever arrogant and dissatisfied, the loser sorrowful, but the detached one alone finds peace.
