अशुचिर्वचनाद् यस्यशुचिर्भवति पूरुषः।
शुचिश्चैवाशुचिः सद्यः कथं राजा न दैवतम्॥

A person becomes pure by speech and intention. The king, like a deity, can elevate even the impure to purity. Speech has the power to cleanse.

अशुद्धप्रकृतौ राज्ञि जनता नानुरज्यते।
यथा गृध्रसमासन्नः कलहंसः समाचरेत्॥

If a king is impure or unjust, people lose trust and won’t follow. A swan near a vulture loses grace—character of the leader reflects on society.

अशुद्धा तु भवेन् नारी यावच्छल्यं न मुञ्चति।
निःसृते तु ततः शल्ये रजसा शुध्यते ततः॥

A woman is impure until she expels all childbirth-related impurities; once cleansed, she regains purity. Refers to postpartum ritual purity customs.
