If a divine power gives the fruit of karma, it also acknowledges only the doer—not the non-doer—as worthy.
Like a doll made by a carpenter, man is bound by the string of vasanas (impressions), driven into karmic acts.
Beings are bound by karma but freed by wisdom. Thus, seers renounce action to seek ultimate liberation.
Action disturbs the mind, but intellect doesn’t disturb karma. Even wise Rāma chased a golden deer—showing human vulnerability.
One should practice dharma by deed, mind, and word, but not in ways despised or unsuitable—even if technically righteous.
Whatever one repeatedly practices in act, thought, and speech eventually overtakes them—so choose good constantly.
True non-violence, as taught by sages, is to never cause distress through action, thought, or word—towards any living being.
Whether good or bad, karma’s fruits fade as the mind’s impurities are burnt away—that is called inner dissolution.
The whole world is deluded by enticing karma. But the blessed wise cast aside delusion and pursue austerity.
One must uplift oneself with whatever means—gentle or harsh. The capable one practices dharma and helps the weak.
