Hunting, gambling, women, and liquor—born of desire—are the four recognized vices by the wise. They bring downfall when indulged in without restraint.

काम जानामि ते मूलं संकल्पात् किल जायसे।
न त्वां संकल्पयिष्यामि समूलो न भविष्यसि॥

Desire arises from thought; knowing this, I shall not imagine you again. Without root, you shall not sprout again—declares a disciplined mind.
